2026 JLPT Exam Dates — Confirmed
The JLPT is conducted twice a year globally on the same dates. The Japan Foundation has confirmed the 2026 global test dates:

Important: Registration dates and seat availability vary by test centre. Always confirm on your regional organiser’s website. Seats fill on a first-come, first-served basis — SNRC notifies all enrolled students when registration opens.

JLPT Registration — Step by Step
- Visit the official JLPT website: https://www.jlpt.jp/e — go to the “Apply” section.
- Create a MyJLPT account using your email address and a password.
- Select your exam session (July or December 2026), your city (Bangalore — registered via BNK India), and your level (N5 through N1).
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph (white background, JPEG format).
- Upload valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, passport, or driving licence).
- Pay the exam fee online via your city organiser’s payment method (UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking).
- Download and save your confirmation receipt — you will need your registration number for results.
Warning: Changes to level, centre, or session cannot be made after registration. Double-check all details before submitting.

All fees are non-refundable. Verify exact fees directly with your city organiser (BNK India for Bangalore: bnkindia.in) before payment.
Results and Certification
- Results published approximately 2 months after the exam.
- July 2026 results: late August to early September 2026.
- December 2026 results: late January to early February 2027.
- Check results at jlpt.jp using your registration number and password.
- Physical certificate posted approximately 6-8 weeks after results are declared.
